About our team
Our photographic team is primarily us, Geoffrey and Dianne, a team of some 38 years. We are located on the Gold Coast, in Queensland, Australia. We may from time to time have guest photographers display their works on our site and when this is the case such work will be clearly attributed to the artist concerned.
About our equipment.
In the main we use both film based and Digital Nikon and Hasselblad equipment. As mentioned, some of the work may from time to time be presented by our friends and fellow photographers who may use other brand equipment but we can forgive them for that! We are also prone to lugging around tripods so we can ensure the sharpness of our images, particularly in the low light of our favourite photographic times... dawn and dusk.
By and large we do not use filters or flashes as we believe that it is not necessary to enhance the light and colour that nature provides.
Our images originating from film are produced using extremely high resolution professional drum scanners thus no detail is lost in the process.
Our films & papers.
Our preferred film is professional range Kodak and Fuji transparency or colour reversal (i.e. slide) film to ensure consistent colour rendition is obtained and maximum enlargement is possible without detriment to picture quality.

Our printed pictures are produced in professional laboratories and our standard media is Kodak Professional Supra Endura paper. The quality of this paper is exceptional. For vivid colour we also recommend Kodak Professional Endura Metallic paper. This offers extremely high contrast and a unique pearlescent appearance. It also has a strong resistance to light fading and Kodak guarantees that with correct mounting and framing the paper will last 100 years without any signs of fading (in a typical home or office environment).
